The dinner that I really recommand

The dinner that I really want to treat Dr. Tsuyuki

This food is called 삼계탕(Sam-kye-tang).
This food is really so hot, I mean not spicy, but burning.
Even though this food is hot, most Koreans like to eat Samkyetang during summer not winter. When they eat this dish, they believe that they could be more strong and energetic. There are several foods Koreans like to eat during summer such as barbecued eel, and abalone porridge.

To ward off summer heat and stay healthy, many Koreans eat invigorating food to boost up their energy. There are two pictures below. The first one is barbecued eel, and the second one is abalone porridge.

I would like to explain why I want to treat this dish.
Dr. Tsuyuki always says to us that Korean foods are very spicy even though he tries to eat breakfast. This food is not spicy at all, it tastes really light and clean. He said that he likes to eat meats because he is American. This food Samkyetang is made by a whole chicken except for chicken’s giblets. So it will be good for Dr. Tyusuki. Contrary to Korean foods like 불고기(Bulgogi), he can feel like chewing things such as steak.
This food is made by several healthy vegetables by boiling. This food contains ginseng, jujube, garlic, chestnut, glutinous rice, and chicken. These materials could be put together and boiled for a long time. The important thing is that glutinous rice should be inside of chicken not to make spread in dish. It could be looked a little bit messy because of rice.

There are several reasons Samkyetang is good for health. According to Dongeuibogam, which is illustrated so many vegetables and medical herbs that will be effect on people’s health, this food contains a lot of essential amino acids even more than beef. This food also makes people’s inner body warm, so it is a good way to escape of stomachache from cold drinks and foods in this hot days.
